Come along with the mission to create more sustainable universities for the future! In the second European Innovation Race (EIR), being a part of an international team, you will brainstorm, prototype, and pitch your ideas for how universities could become more sustainable. What’s more, during EIR, you will become familiar with design thinking and make new friends!

What is the European Innovation Race?
The European Innovation Race is a one-day hackathon event in which university students from different countries work on a given topic to find real-life solutions.
Join us in an exciting day of teamwork, problem-solving, and knowledge building!
When? March 3rd, 12:00-16:30 (CET)
Where? The event will be held entirely online on Zoom and Jamboard. No additional technical applications are required.
What’s the topic? This year students will develop proposals for how universities could become more sustainable.
Why participate? You will get valuable experience working in an international student team – it’s a
great chance to broaden your network. You will improve teamwork, intercultural and problem-solving
competencies, and learn how to use design thinking.
Who’s behind the race? European Innovation Race is an annual event run by the InterACTional
Project, a collaboration between the University of Bergen, University Jean Moulin Lyon
3, Vilnius University, and Knowledge Economy Forum (KEF) in Vilnius as a part of the Erasmus+
strategic partnership.
